Electronics Lab<img alt="Electronics Lab" src="https://www.cira.it/PublishingImages/ELN01.jpg" width="1989" style="BORDER:0px solid;" />https://www.cira.it/en/research-infrastructures/electronics-lab/Electronics LabElectronics Lab<p><strong>​​</strong> </p><h3><span lang="en">Description and operational capabilities:</span></h3><p>Application domains whose experimentation can be supported by the Electronics Lab are:<br></p><p> </p><ul style="text-align:justify;"><li><p>Aircraft avionics, Systems & Equipment<br></p></li><li><p>Communication System<br></p></li><li><p>Electronics for on-board systems<br></p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Besides of aeronautical applications, in the past the Lab has extensively supported space programs, such as the Unmanned Space Vehicle (USV), and ground large facilities. It also supported other application domains participating to test and/or building demonstrators in active vibration control, smart structures, and innovative sensors fields.</p> <h3 style="text-align:justify;">Instrumentation:<br></h3><p>Electronics Lab is equipped with instrumentation, simulation tools and equipment to support the design of analogue, digital and microcontroller-based boards. Instrumentation can characterize electronic units, in baseband or radiofrequency, with a maximum operating frequency of 6 GHz. </p><p>Tools and instrumentation allow the development of model-based baseband modules for communication systems.
