| IFAR-X Challenge, networking for sustainable aviation | <img alt="" src="https://www.cira.it/PublishingImages/IFAR%20X%20Challenge%20foto%20di%20gruppo.jpg" style="BORDER:0px solid;" /> | https://www.cira.it/en/competences/safety-and-security/ifar-x-challenge-networking-per-l’aviazione-sostenibile/IFAR-X Challenge, networking for sustainable aviation | IFAR-X Challenge, networking for sustainable aviation | <p style="text-align:justify;">To reinforce networking among young researchers, promote professional growth, and identify potential areas for international cooperation among the research centers on relevant topics such as sustainable aviation has been one of the objectives of the IFAR-X Challenge and Early Career Network (ECN) Conference, promoted by CIRA and DLR, held at CIRA from September 16 to 18, 2024.<br></p><p style="text-align:justify;">Participants from IFAR centers collaborated to develop multidisciplinary topics within the air transport domain, aligning with the Green Deal and Flightpath 2050 goals. CIRA played a leading role in innovative ATM solutions that enable the sustainability of air transport, encouraging participants to share their opinions on global challenges.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The ECN Conference has proven to be an opportunity for participants to share visions and, through interactions with senior researchers and colleagues from various research disciplines, gain awareness of the different sectors that intersect in the complex research domain. They also benefited from early career networking activities.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The CIRA President welcomed and encouraged the young researchers, conveying enthusiasm for their continuous professional growth.
