To GARTEUR AG22, co-ordinated by CIRA, the 43rd ERF 2017 Chairman Award<img alt="" src="https://www.cira.it/PublishingImages/43%20ERF%202017.jpg" style="BORDER:0px solid;" />https://www.cira.it/en/competences/fluid-mechanics/al-garteur-ag22-coordinato-dal-cira-il-chairman-award-del-43°-erf-2017/To GARTEUR AG22, co-ordinated by CIRA, the 43rd ERF 2017 Chairman AwardTo GARTEUR AG22, co-ordinated by CIRA, the 43rd ERF 2017 Chairman Award<p style="text-align:justify;">The European Rotorcraft Forum International Committee, by recognizing the high level of the technical paper "Forces on Obstacles in Rotor Wake - A Garteur Action Group", and of the relative presentation made at the 43rd European Rotorcraft Forum, has awarded CIRA researchers Antonio Visingardi and Fabrizio De Gregorio and the other  European partners (DLR, NLR, NTUA, ONERA, Politecnico di Milano, and University di Glasgow), with the Chairman Award, which recognizes the Best Paper with a focus on international cooperation.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The publication was aimed at illustrating the activities carried out and the results obtained during the Action Group Garteur AG22 "Forces On Obstacles In Rotor Wake".</p><p style="text-align:justify;">AG22 is a Garteur European research project, conceived and coordinated by Antonio Visingardi, aimed at the numerical and experimental study of the interactional aerodynamics of a helicopter rotor hovering in ground effect and in proximity to surrounding obstacles.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The AG22 consortium has been invited to present the paper to the forthcoming 7th Asian/Australian Rotorcraft Forum (ARF), that will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2018, in Seogwipo City, South Korea. At the end of the presentation, a ceremony will be organized for the delivery of the Chairman Award plaque.<br></p>2018-02-08T23:00:00Z
