The meeting was chaired by President A. Blandini and attended by executives from all ESRE-affiliated research centers across Europe, halfway through CIRA's two-year presidency of the association.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The main topic of discussion was the preparation for the next meeting between ESRE and the European Commission. However, the meeting also provided an opportunity to explore future collaboration and research opportunities among various Centers both within the IRIS2 program and in developing technologies to support Space Sustainability, with particular reference to Space Traffic Management.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><br><em>About ESRE </em></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><em>Founded in 2016 as a non-profit organization, ESRE now includes eight research centers that are leaders in the field of European space research: CBK (Poland), CIRA (Italy), DLR (Germany), INCAS (Romania), INTA (Spain), NLR (Netherlands) and ONERA (France), VZLU (Czech Republic). The creation of ESRE has enabled affiliated centers to intensify their cooperation and propose joint research activities, develop innovative technologies, and support the competitiveness of the European space sector. ESRE's initiatives also aim to contribute to solving societal challenges and supporting Europe in its response to rapid evolution in the global space market.</em></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><br><br></p><p><br><br></p>2023-06-15T22:00:00Z
