AMBER project, second annual review meeting

The second review meeting of the AMBER project (innovAtive deMonstrator for hyBrid-Electric Regional application) was recently held in Brussels, attended by representatives of all project partners.

AMBER aimed to mature, integrate and validate key technologies necessary for a megawatt-class hybrid aircraft electric propulsion system powered by hydrogen fuel cells.

During the meeting, the progress made so far was presented and the technical developments were discussed, with particular focus on the implementation status of the various components of the AMBER project, their alignment with the high-level objectives, and the overall testing strategy.

The update of the key performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and roadmap of the Technology Readiness Level (TRL), made it possible to provide the partners with information on the overall prospects of the project and its implementation.
