Successful Completion of the Qualification and Acceptance Test Campaigns for Capsule Corporation's WaterCube Thruster
At the CIRA Space Qualification Center, the qualification and acceptance campaigns of the WaterCube Thruster, developed by Capsule Corporation, have been successfully completed; an important milestone in the development of an innovative space propulsion system.
The thruster underwent a comprehensive environmental test campaign including vibration, mechanical shock, and thermal vacuum testing, aimed at verifying the system’s ability to withstand and operate correctly under the mechanical and thermal loads typically encountered during launch and in the space environment.
The successful completion of these activities once again confirms the value of the collaboration between CIRA and aerospace companies. This synergy is built not only on advanced facilities and specialized expertise, but also on operational flexibility, continuous coordination, and the ability to adapt to the development needs of rapidly evolving deep-tech organizations.
Supporting companies and emerging technologies through the key stages of technological product development is an essential part of CIRA’s mission: providing the space sector with expertise, test facilities, and reliability to help transform innovative ideas and ambitious goals into tangible results.
