Special Issue on “Symmetry/Asymmetry in Data Mining”: Guest Editor CIRA
CIRA researcher Gaetano Zazzaro has been appointed Guest Editor of the Special Issue “Symmetry/Asymmetry in Data Mining” of the international scientific journal Symmetry, published by MDPI.
A recognition of CIRA’s contribution to international research in data mining, data science, and computational data analysis.
The Special Issue will collect contributions on the use of symmetry and asymmetry for knowledge extraction from complex, heterogeneous, high-dimensional, and large-scale data, including Big Data.
Main topics include:
- symmetry and asymmetry in data mining;
- pattern recognition, classification, and anomaly detection;
- machine learning, statistical learning, and feature engineering;
- data analysis, clustering, and data-driven applications in scientific, technological, and industrial domains.
The call for papers is open until 31 May 2027.
