CIRA Welcomes the U.S. Consul General in Naples

CIRA had the pleasure of welcoming the U.S. Consul General in Naples, Terrence Flynn, for an institutional visit focused on learning more about the Center’s activities.

During the meeting, Director General Stefania Cantoni and CIRA’s management team presented an overview of the Center’s main research programs, highlighting past and ongoing collaborations with the United States as a testament to a well-established relationship.

The Consul General and his delegation also had the opportunity to take a closer look at CIRA’s main experimental facilities, including the Plasma Wind Tunnel and the Icing Wind Tunnel, internationally renowned test facilities.

The visit is hoped to represent a further step toward strengthening relations and cooperation with U.S. partners, with a view to fostering shared development and innovation.
