CIRA’s Visitor Center is enriched by a mural by Jorit

A mural by Jorit, the renowned Neapolitan artist, has been unveiled at CIRA’s new Visitor Center. The artwork is dedicated to Katherine Johnson, the NASA mathematician whose talent and determination helped shape the history of space missions.

The mural represents much more than a tribute to an extraordinary scientist: it is an invitation to recognize the value of knowledge, research, and innovation as tools for building the future.

Promoted by President Frosini and Director General Cantoni, the initiative is part of the project to enhance the Visitor Center, a space open to students and guests, designed to showcase CIRA’s activities and the people who, through their work, have left their mark on the history of aerospace.

Our heartfelt thanks to Jorit for transforming these values into a mural that will inspire future generations.
