Obiettivo
The CADI.RA R&D project "CapsulA DI Rientro Atmosferico" aimes at the design, development, validation and certification of a re-entry capsule demonstrator for future applications such as re-entry from the International Space Station, microgravity experiments and landings on other planets .
Attività nel progetto CIRA
CIRA is envolved in the definition of the requirements and specifications that enable the selection of companies with specific competencies that will succeed in the subsequent phases in creating subsystems capable of operating in a harsh environment, such as SPACE.
Furthermore, CIRA is envolved in the definition and execution of a test campaign on the demonstrator for the purpose of verifying its capability to cope with launch, microgravity and atmospheric re- entry phases operational loads.
