​CIRA maintains some Third party certifications as well as a number of Second party awards; the QMS is instrumental for all these things.

Over time they have been achieved:

Third party Certifications:

  • ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION, starting january 2004, with a scope of certification covering all the activities of the Center;
  • ENAC CERTIFICATION, starting january 2003, of technical suitability as testing laboratory for the execution of:
    • Aircraft noise measurement;
    • Aerospace structures impact testing;
    • Icing Wind Tunnel Tests​.

Second party certifications were awarded by:

  • Ministry of Instruction, University an Research;
  • Campania region

The qualifications from customers include approval of:

  • Alenia Aeronautica (today Leonardo);
  • OMA SUD;
  • K4A.
