Aircraft Certification in Icing Condition New Requirements of the Means of Compliance<img alt="" src="https://www.cira.it/PublishingImages/Save%20the%20date%20workshop%20on%20icing%20certification.jpg" style="BORDER:0px solid;" />https://www.cira.it/en/events/workshop-aircraft-icing-certification/Aircraft Certification in Icing Condition New Requirements of the Means of ComplianceAircraft Certification in Icing Condition New Requirements of the Means of Compliance<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>ABOUT THE EVENT</strong><br></p><p style="text-align:justify;">The Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA),  is organising a Workshop and Networking Event on <strong style="text-align:justify;">"Aircraft Certification in Icing Condition. New Requirements of the Means of Compliance"</strong> at CIRA, Capua, Italy. </p><p style="text-align:justify;">Special guests of the event are: the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), NASA Glenn Research Centre and the National Research Council of Canada (NRCC). </p><p style="text-align:justify;">The workshop will take place <strong>on November 12th and 13th 2018 at CIRA</strong>. A tour of the CIRA ground facilities will be organised on November 12th at the end of the working sessions.<br></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>OBJECTIVES</strong><br></p><p style="text-align:justify;">The ground icing test facilities, such as the icing wind tunnels and the engine icing test cells are not able to fully comply to the new regulation. </p><p style="text-align:justify;">Important research programs to collect data to build a database for App. D/P were recently complete.
