SAE International Meetings

From October 20 to 23, CIRA will host three SAE International committees belonging to the Aircraft Systems Group:

• AC-9, Aircraft Environmental Systems Committee
• AC-9C, Aircraft Icing Technology Committee
• AC-9M, Cabin Air Measurement Committee

CIRA actively participates in the work of the AC-9C committee, which is engaged in promoting and developing technologies related to aircraft icing prevention and onboard environmental monitoring systems.

SAE International committees play a fundamental role in defining and updating standards, recommended practices, and informational reports that help improve the quality, efficiency, and safety of aircraft in both the civil and military sectors. With more than 750 councils, committees, and working groups, SAE International represents a global platform for collaborative innovation in the aerospace, automotive, commercial vehicle, and complex systems management sectors.
