National Space Day 2025

Once again in 2025, CIRA joins the initiative promoted by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) by organizing an event dedicated to celebrating the launch of Italy’s first artificial satellite, San Marco 1. The Center will host a special open day for upper secondary school students, with the aim of bringing them closer to the world of aerospace research.

The event, “From Sky to Space: Advanced Technologies for a Sustainable World,” will include a presentation of CIRA’s main research activities and guided visits to its large-scale test facilities.

The initiative seeks to raise awareness among young people of the value of the aerospace sector, highlighting the contribution of research and innovation to technological progress and to the country’s competitive and strategic development.
