Space law and its impacts on the economy

CIRA President Tommaso Edoardo Frosini addressed this topic during a special event organized by ANDAF, the National Association of Administrative and Financial Directors. Frosini traced the evolution of space law, from the 1967 Outer Space Treaty to the new space race in which economic dynamics play an increasingly central role, highlighting key themes such as sovereignty, liability, national regulatory frameworks, and prospects for a European legal framework.

The event also featured CIRA Director General Stefania Cantoni, who presented the Centre’s vision and activities, emphasizing CIRA’s role as Italy’s national reference point for aerospace innovation.

The initiative was organized by Federico Tammaro, Head of Anti-Corruption and Transparency and President of ANDAF Campania and Calabria.
