CIRA, Stefania Cantoni appointed new Director General

The Board of Directors of CIRA, during its meeting on 10 December, has appointed Stefania Cantoni, who was previously Acting Director, as the General Director of the Centre.

An aeronautical engineer, Stefania Cantoni graduated from the School of Engineering of the University of Naples, where she also earned a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering. She joined CIRA in 1996 and has held roles of increasing responsibility over the years. Prior to this appointment, she served as Director of Research and Testing Facilities.
