CIRA, Prof. Frosini appointed new President.

Upon nomination by the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), on 7 July 2025 the Shareholders’ Assembly of CIRA – the Italian Aerospace Research Centre – appointed Tommaso Edoardo Frosini as the new President for the 2025–2028 term.

A Full Professor of Comparative Public Law at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples, Frosini is a prominent figure in the Italian legal and institutional landscape and previously served as Vice President of the CNR from 2016 to 2021.

Today, Prof. Frosini greeted employees, paying tribute to the role that the Italian Aerospace Research Centre plays both nationally and internationally.

CIRA expresses its sincere appreciation to the outgoing President, Antonio Blandini, for his work and for having promoted significant strategic initiatives at the national, European, and global levels during the recently concluded three-year term.
