CIRA meets JAXA at the IFAR 2025 Summit
During the sixteenth edition of the IFAR Summit, the International Forum for Aviation Research, held in Vienna from 28 to 31 October 2025, CIRA met with a delegation from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). The meeting provided an important opportunity to strengthen dialogue between the two research centers within the framework of international cooperation in the aeronautics sector.
The discussion highlighted a shared vision regarding the major challenges that air transport will face in the coming years, with particular emphasis on environmental sustainability. Central to the exchange was the strategic role of research infrastructures, recognized as essential assets for accelerating decarbonization and enabling the adoption of innovative and sustainable technologies.
