ARF Chairman's Award 2018<img alt="" src="https://www.cira.it/PublishingImages/ARF%20Chairman%20Award%202018.JPG" style="BORDER:0px solid;" />https://www.cira.it/en/competences/fluid-mechanics/arf-chairmans-award-2018/ARF Chairman's Award 2018ARF Chairman's Award 2018<p style="text-align:justify;"></p><p style="text-align:justify;">During the 7th Asian/Australian Rotorcraft Forum (ARF2018), held in Jeju Island, South Korea, from October 30th 2018 to November 1st 2018, CIRA researcher Antonio Visingardi, as proposer and coordinator of the Garteur Action Group HC/AG-22 "Forces on Obstacles in Rotor Wake", has received, on behalf of the AG22 consortium, the plaque of the 43rd European Rotorcraft Forum Chairman's Award (Milan, Sept. 2017) for the work "Forces on Obstacles in Rotor Wake - A GARTEUR Action Group", acknowledged as the best paper with a focus on international cooperation.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The award ceremony has been held during a plenary session of the congress, after which Mr Visingardi has been invited to present the awarded paper before about 200 representatives of the most important Asian and Australian research centres, universities and aerospace industries, as well as of the HC/GoR Garteur and European Rotorcraft Forum international committee, and of influential names of the U.S. rotorcraft research community.<br></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="text-align:justify;"> November </span>13, 2018<br></p>2018-11-12T23:00:00Z
