In particular, an approach is here proposed for conflict detection between ownship and surrounding ADS-B OUT equipped aircraft, which uses traffic position and velocity data provided by the on-board ADS-B IN device. The paper presents the architecture of the proposed system, including a description of the software modules, focusing on the specific applications devoted to surveillance data processing and conflicts identification and prioritization. Results of simulations campaign aimed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach are also reported and discussed.
2016-12-11T23:00:00Z
