CIRA opens the event on “The future of aviation Research and Innovation funding in the EU Framework Programme” | <img alt="" src="https://www.cira.it/PublishingImages/Evento%20EREA.jpg" style="BORDER:0px solid;" /> | https://www.cira.it/en/communication/news/il-cira-apre-evento-sul-futuro-della-ricerca-aeronautica-finanziata-dal-programma-quadro-fp10/CIRA opens the event on “The future of aviation Research and Innovation funding in the EU Framework Programme” | CIRA opens the event on “The future of aviation Research and Innovation funding in the EU Framework Programme” | <p></p><p style="text-align:justify;">On October 15, 2024, in Brussels, it was a very high-level discussion on the future of aviation research in the next European funding Programs.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The event, organized by EREA, the Association of European Research Establishments in Aeronautics, attended by the main European, Institutional, industrial and research stakeholders, included as notable guests and speakers, among the others, the Chair of the High-Level Expert Group on the Interim Evaluation of Horizon Europe, Professor Manuel HEITOR as well as the Director of the Clean Planet Directorate at DG for Research and Innovation, Ms. Rosalinde VAN DER VLIES.</p><p style="text-align:justify;">The event was opened and closed by CIRA President and EREA Chair, Prof. Antonio Blandini who reminded that the event occurred on the 30th anniversary of EREA foundation, and recalled some of the main successes of EREA along this period. </p><p style="text-align:justify;">Moreover, Prof. Blandini summarized the main key messages from EREA for a successful implementation of next Multiannual Framework Programme, FP10, namely the need to have strong and well-balanced system with all stakeholders included, the need to preserve current Pillar 2 in Europe and even strengthen it, for its unique capacity for supporting cross-border and cross-sectoral cooperation and the request to simplify procedures in FP10 for the benefit of all applicants.<br></p><p><br><br></p> | 2024-10-17T22:00:00Z |
