Morsillo concluded his speech wishing for an effective, result-oriented management in which the provision of the PRORA (National Aerospace Research Program) currently carried out at CIRA, could have a leverage effect, attracting private capital, allowing the Centre to successfully participate in European research programmes and becoming involved in channels that can guarantee the regular use of systems.

Giuseppe Morsillo, born in 1959, boasts over 35 years of professional experience, mainly gained in the space industry, but also in the aeronautics and defence sectors, working both in industry as well as in governmental and intergovernmental agencies, in the fields of integration and testing, production, engineering, programme management, procurement, marketing, strategic planning and control, finance, national and international relations.

In 1983, he graduated with honours in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Naples.
