CIRA Quality Management System (SGQ)

The aerospace sector has always been in the vanguard for Quality; in fact, for an organization operating in an international market, characterized by considerable investments, complexity and technological innovation, the ability to strive for excellence is an imperative more than a strategic option.
Committed to sustain this challenge, CIRA carries out its activities according to national and international standards relevant for research. CIRA usually anticipates the application of these standards and contributes to their development too. CIRA’s attention to the quality of its products and activities is evident in terms of enabling factors and results: an organisational unit dedicated to quality and a certified Quality Management System (QMS) confirm this policy.
CIRA’s commitment to uphold competition for excellence goes beyond certification and is headed toward a governance modelled upon Total Quality Management (TQM) principles: with this in mind, CIRA QMS focuses on continuous improvement of organizational performance and efficiency, in addition to its efficacy, on short-term and long-term objectives, on satisfaction not only for the customers but for all the stakeholders too
