This sector is concerned with the selection, acquisition, management and user support activities of the following information systems:

--Supercomputer Systems
--Workstation Systems for Scientific Calculation and Visualisation
--Hardware, Software and Automated Office Procedures
--Hardware, Software and Information Management Procedures
--Software for the Network Backup
