Library and Reference
The service makes information accessible to both internal users and the aerospace community.
The largely digital CIRA library, http://aleph.cira.it/F, focusses on aerospace issues and comprises a collection of books, periodicals, grey literature (NASA, AIAA, AGARD papers etc.) and technical standards (FAR, MIL, ISO, UNI, etc.). The catalog is managed through Aleph 500 software.
The aerospace libraries’ Metaopac, www.cira.it/it/metaopac, allows users to simultaneously search the catalogs of the libraries of CIRA and of the main Italian academic libraries in this field.
The reference and Inter Library Loan (ILL) services are carried out within the limits of existing copyright law and under reciprocal conditions.
